I didn't read the whole 81 pages so I apologize if I repeat what already has been said. Therefore I respond to your first post only.

In my humble opinion you miss the order of the main points of concern.

Imho people do not like (in that order):

a) Micro-Transactions that affect the game play. I think most people like or do not care about vanity items.

b) Not being able to have the option to keep the status quo of their station screen (spinnable ship).

c) CQ having performance issues.

d) CCP developing stuff that the current population does not care that much about when you could hone the game the people like to play (though most people understand you want to address a broader audience).

e) The actual items and prize of the shop (mind this is the last point of concer).

You removed content from the game just so you can sell it back to players at ludicrous prices. You added a completely useless "feature" that completely screws over anyone who can't afford a new computer. 90% of your customers told you not to waste time on it to begin with and you deliberately ignored them. This post will probably drown in the all the useless postings with no meaning to help our case but hell I give it a shot.

First I am not against progress, progress is good.
So CQ I like it, it looks great but surely needs some major tweaking.
We all know it's the first step although not everybody is happy with it, it is needed to get a bigger fanbase imo.
Not everybody will/desires/aspires to be a pvp'er some of those people will be station dwellers when station walking get full blown.

Why peeps getting nut about CQ I dunno yes there maybe hardware troubles for some.
If you have older hardware time to upgrade, if not either check it not on your side or petition for it or there is a thread somewhere on the forums for it.
I am not saying here you claims are not legit but keep that in mind.
I myself have no big problems with performance in CQ, what my problem is the non support towards ATI/AMD maybe it time for ccp to make the step toward DX11
Maybe it will improve performance toward other peeps as well.

NEX or AURUM again it's not something bad, but in the way it presented now... well that's a big problem.
MT can be a good thing if it's done right the cloth selling because it will be part of station walking sure good thing but not at these prices.
Selling of ships with a special npc skin outside of the faction ships is a good idea like that golden scorp presented on AT9
But keep it at that and balance the prices.
Selling SP well i hope that just a rumor do not take away player progress, if that idea real.. dot it with a implant a special one that gives a boost for like 30 days at what 50% more speed.

CQ is here to stay but needs some major work.
NEX and AURUM totally out of balance
Back upped tweak work on the gameplay needs to be looked at asap.
Think about DX11 time to have some progress there also to deal with a lot client problems

Get your fanbase trust you again.

I am no ragequiter I wait and see how CCP gonna do now.

For me, having had the honor of following CCP from a very early stage, seeing how developers worked tightly with players to progress forward I'm _NOT_ suprised one bit over the view from CCP, as it was just a matter of time, after all you are a company, with the goal to make money (unlike most 3rd party developers in our community *hint hint* ) - so I'm not going to try and argue with you(CCP) on that note.

From my point of view, you're(once again CCP) is trying to save face by like not telling us what you have in mind in the fear of players leaving, and I think from most of the players view we only want you to be honest.

By lying to us, or "modifying the truth" you are seriously just stepping on our trust. Sure, honest will most likely lead to players leaving as well, but how CCP has presented itself in recent time isn't really giving any kudos in my book anyway. Be honest and we get mad, but you will still have our faith and trust, lie to us and we will be mad and not eager to give you anything, which tbh only gives you bad PR.

Now I don't claim knowing much about PR or how to run a company your size, but the general "hmm" tells me that being honest and losing 1000 paying customers would be better in the long run than lying and losing 500 players now and get a really bad PR event.

I think CCP is awesome, and I have nothing but faith for you guys since you are doing an outstanding job for us, but I must say, your communication has serious flaws, and it has not always been like that, maybe you grew to fast and it's understandable that it was easier to communicate with us when there was 20,000 people, compared to the what 500,000+ now?

But remember, in the end, we are paying your salary with our subscriptions. Talk to us, that is what we want, we want to feel a part of how New Eden progresses, be it with or without buying Monocle's instead of our Armani watches, we want to be a part of at least trying to push it in the right direction - not getting fed with lies and general "what we think you want to hear"-statements.

Keep up the awesome job, and that goes to ALL CCP employees, we want nothing but to be a part of the epicness you create.

Sad to say, but CCP broke the game months ago and almost everybody cheered. They encountered issues with their upgrade and rewarded SKILLPOINTS as compensation...we cheered. Nobody seemed to note that they had openly revealed a mechanic in the game where they (devs, GMs, their friends, the janitor?) could grant as many skillpoints to a character as they wanted. We were all just glad to get ours.

People with real cash to spend have been able to buy PLEX galore, convert to isk, and buy better ships and equipment. We enjoy the benefits of having them in our corps and alliances, and frankly everybody benefits because their cash funds CCP to help keep developing a great game for those of us who are not as wealthy. The playing field was balanced though because everybody had to "earn" their skills. The mechanics to totally cheat on characters earning skillpoints were in place, but that was ok. We got our skillpoints to allocate and trusted CCP to keep the playing field somewhat level. Can we do that now?

What CCP really broke with Incarna and the recent revelations is our TRUST. I love this community, and like many have invested plenty of time, money, and heart into the game. The ball is back in CCP's court to earn that trust back. Give CCP Pann and those of like mind a chance to correct things with open and honest dialogue. If that doesn't work, there are a lot of other online game options.

Then after perfecting the core things in EVE start fixing your other stuff like FW (0.0 stuff its CORE so do it first then FW) then PI, Then finish incarna (actually you should put WoD full throttle so you copy code from WoD to Incarna and not the other way arround)
Step 6) DONT WORRY, BE HAPPY....wait that isnt, its WORRY FOR YOUR COSTUMERS, IF YOU WORRY YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

Also some recomendations:
-Replan Dust514 MT strategic. If it affects EVE and force your hand to implement MT then you are screwed. Try using a 5$ subscription fee for Dust and you will see it will work. Why? Because 5$ a month X 6 months its what a console gamer usually spend in a game that come out in 6 month. And new eden could be more addicting. If 5$ dosent convince you 7$ TOPS, if not, you are screwed.

-Start dev WoD as should be. My guess? You are trowing that dev power to Incarna so you test it first with us (and screw us if necesary seems so) to then use it in WoD. Wanna more money, theres your golden moose, not us.

Step 7) Make us happy, the costumer its allways right
Step 8) Enjoy a decent pay for your hard work, dont rob us by being cheap.

AND If you feel you dont wanna DEVELOP MORE FOR EVE, SELL IT. MAKING IT DIE SLOWLY DOSENT HELP YOU IN ANYWAY TO YOUR REPUTATION.

This, I know there's probably a lot of meetings and discussion going on right now at CCP, but you've had several days to respond to this. I though this post was the beginning of that, you asked that we put down our pitchforks for you and many of us did. Then you up and disappeared again. I realize that getting Helmar on the line this minute won't happen, but CCP Pann, you at least should have stuck around and TRIED to engage us in discussion, answer questions, and generally try to calm the rage. I have been here a while, I remember t20. I remember the reason for starting the CSM. There is no doubt that selling valuable items through MT has the potential for making significant money for CCP, and I understand how a company would desire to pursue that. Ironically enough I'm one of those in position to take advantage of the MT market. Real money for unbeatable ships or t3 ammo or even extra skill points certainly wouldn't break me. But I know it's wrong. It destroys the "sandbox" concept that eve has valued for so long. It cheapens the game.

It is very disturbing that anyone who works on this game could even contemplate such a game destroying feature. It does not 'cross the line' it leaps over it. Eve is based on you taking what you want and fighting to keep it, everyone starts the same and goes from there. Giving players the option of buying what they want devalues the cornerstone of the game. That's why it is so wrong for eve. I always thought the biggest fans of eve were the devs who loved and cared about this game, I see now that isn't the case, at least for some.

I blog won't fix this, neither will any grandiose promises. PR won't stop this, perhaps even Helmar can't stop this. I am not upset about the system demands of CQ, and believe in the vision of increasing player immersion. When CCP shared their vision of a total sifi MMO, I cheered. Could CQ have been implemented better, sure. Could some the players ideas be included to improve the expansion, sure. Do I believe that CQ is a bold leap forward, yes and I applaud the effort.

But allowing out of game advantages to spill over into the game is 180 out from the sandbox concept eve has prided itself on. It is so wrong on every level, and the fact that anyone involved in the development of this game fails to see that is truly frightening. I am not ready to rage quit, I am not threatening. MT for in game advantages is NOT in place yet, and hopefully never will be. If/when it becomes a reality, I will have some hard choices to make. I truly hope CCP never asks me to make that decision.

I think the problem is the opposite. The WRONG things are being done faster than the community can protest them. Thus we have a huge pile of issues that we simply HATE because CCP refuesed to hear that before and change course. I doubt even the internal affairs bunch could have an air of non-bias at this juncture without endangering their position in the company. No, this needs to be a direct conversation between the players and devs/managment/decision makers. They need to see once and for all that this direction will lead to a mass exodus from EVE and that does not bode well for their present or future endeavours as a company.

Only a dramatic re-alignment of priorities from on-high can save the game. We don't need a new patch tomorrow, but we do need to know the next patch will be something the players want instead of another batch of the same.

I am an executive with a large company, many times greater than CCP, and we have made this type of mistake in the past as well. When you disconnect from your client base you stray off the path that brings you loyal paying customers. Once these customers are lost it is VERY hard to get them back. They tend to think "I don't want to go thruogh that again" so they are content with not coming back, buying a lessor product with which these problems do not occur.

You have a quality product there is no doubt about that. You have for the most part listened to your fan base, I say this rather hesitantly because at times it take a lot of *****ing from your customers to get anything done. When I talk to my marketing/sales department I try and find out what exactly our customers are looking for and want in our products. I go to Manufacturing and ask them to run a feasability study. This is then weighted against the wants of the customer. If we see that we may not make much money but we will attract more customers then fantastic we proceed. Here is where I get confused, no one in the player base wanted this yet you do it anyway. Someone in your organization failed. You need to have your meeting or whatever you want to do and fix this.

I hope the Execs within CCP realize that while short term profits may go up, your long term survivability is at risk, remember once you lose a customer it is VERY difficult to get them back. Nothing is more difficult explaining to your shareholders, "yes our FBOI is increasing but the CVA is dropping?" This my friends is the sign of a company with a short life span.

Listen to your customers is the biggest advise I can give you at this point. Also remember your advertisment is largely word of mouth. From experience if someone likes something they tell 2-3 people, if they don't like it they tell everyone they meet.
